Tennis Rules and Regulations |

The purpose of Winding-Vista Recreation, Inc. (“Winding-Vista” or the “Club”) is to provide and operate recreational facilities for the enjoyment of all of its members and guests. Members shall advise their children and guests of the rules and ensure that everyone complies with them. Failure to abide by the rules shall be cause for suspension and/or revocation of membership.
The follow are the key rules and regulations in force. Please see the attached document for further details.
General
- Tennis courts will not be used prior to 8:00 AM.
- The tennis courts will not be used after 10:00 PM. One exception – if a scheduled or rescheduled ‘team’ match continues past 10:00 pm, courts will stay open till completion of the match.
- Tennis shoes only must be worn on the courts.
- Only tennis players are allowed on the courts.
- No food is allowed on the courts.
- Players may not succeed themselves when someone else is waiting, unless invited to join their play.
- Reasonable tennis attire and conduct must be maintained.
- Use first and last names for reservations.
- Sign-ups shall be on the hour and half-hour basis, except for ‘team’ play.
- When finished playing, clean up your court area – used tennis balls and cans, water bottles, etc. should be placed in the green buckets hanging on the net posts. Check the area for towels, clothing, etc. left on the courts.
Guests
- Guests must reside outside the membership area.
- One player on each court must be a Club member.
- Guests are welcome. They should abide by the Rules and be under the control of the Club member.
Sign-Up Rules
- A weekly ‘Court sign up’ schedule is posted in the lower Pavilion back wall. If you desire to reserve a court, kindly sign up - date, time and court you want. Reserved time is limited to 1- ½ hour except for scheduled ‘team’ play.
- If no one is waiting, play may continue until court is needed.
- If players reserving the tennis courts are late by more than fifteen (15) minutes, their reservations may be forfeited and claimed by other players.
